In businesses, digital transformation has long been perceived as simply a matter of technology, data, and processes. This is where an old model, the Johari Window, finds unexpected relevance for mapping missing, dormant, or unknown data.

A blind spot is not defined as ordinary ignorance, a simple lack of information that could be remedied by searching more thoroughly. It must be clearly distinguished from that. It is a structurally undetectable area from the viewing position, not because information is lacking, but because the position itself produces invisibility.

The second digital transformation is a far more profound disruption than anticipated, and one that has been largely underestimated by many leaders. We are witnessing a shift from a data economy to a meaning economy. This shift is redefining the sources of value, decision-making processes, and even the very nature of the company.
