THINKING
Our story
In 2012, a new facility was inaugurated in Neuchâtel, experimenting with new methodologies for creativity. Following on from "Living Labs" and the research labs of large companies, the "Swiss Creative Center" positions itself as an interface for creativity between academia and Neuchâtel businesses.
It consists of two parts: A Think Tank: a reflection environment dedicated to the creation of new ideas; A FabLab: a light and flexible workshop, equipped with simple digital machines allowing for the rapid and cost-effective creation of 3D prototypes during development processes, intended for entrepreneurs, designers, artists and students.
The creation of this center in the form of an association is the result of reflections carried out by various opinion leaders from the industrial, academic and associative sectors of Neuchâtel.
In March 2014, the Think Tank will broaden its entrepreneurial base by becoming more Romand and will take the name "Manufacture Thinking". The founding event will take place in Môtier in the Val-de-Travers, in the presence of various personalities such as Elmar Mock (inventor of the Swatch watch), Jean-Nathanaël Karakash (head of the Department of Economy of Neuchâtel), Florian Németi (president of the Latin Chambers of Commerce) and Xavier Comtesse (co-founder of the Think Tank).
